Riverbend Retreat Center
Located near Glen Rose, Texas, Riverbend exists to assist churches and individuals in carrying out the Great Commission through Summer Camps, Conferences, Retreats and Special Events in which groups, families, and individuals participate.
Riverside Indian School is a boarding school for Native American students located in the Anadarko Basin of southwestern Oklahoma. Lamar mission teams bring love and spiritual support to the students.

Mary Heyman
Presently on furlough, Mary serves in Chengdu, China, as a foreign teacher coordinator/teacher for the C-SALT Center.
Laura Meloti
Laura, a former Lamar staff member, now serves in full-time ministry as part of International Commission, whose mission is to equip believers to take to Good News of Jesus to thousands of people every year through missions. She coordinates volunteers and materials for mission trips to South America, specifically her native Brazil.
Joel and Jill Skinner (and their children) were sent by Lamar Baptist Church in 2009 after the family was called to serve in Mbarara, a city in the southwest corner of Uganda, teaching young businessmen how to apply biblical principles in their personal lives and business practices. They go as a part of Africa Inland Mission, a non-denominational Christian Missions organization with a Heart to Reach Africa.
Whited Family
Dano and Melinda Whited have been accepted as members of Wycliffe Bible Translators serving with JAARS. The Whiteds transitioned from Missionary Maintenance Services to Wycliffe in February 2009.
Members of Lamar Baptist Church have lovingly supported the school's students, faculty and staff; and its affiliated children’s home since 2003. Besides teaching Sunday School, our members have also taught at annual camps for teachers and staff - the purpose of which is building relationships; growing professionally but the most - growing spiritually.
